Why are we called ‘Drunemeton’?
Drunemeton is a combination word, which we believe to be made up of “dru”, the first part of the word druid, alluding to oak tree, and “nemeton“, which means tree sanctuary or sacred grove. Druid can also mean ‘oak-tree-knower’, ‘magician’ or ‘truth-seer’.
